Our opinion on Lennar is that if you're looking for a decent home and don't care about picking options, this is the best choice. They steer more to the crowd of buyers who would not necessarily care to invest more money prior to closing with a builder in interior and exterior upgrades. As a result, don't expect to go in to a massive design center to make selections during the build process, which you can with builders like Toll Brothers and Pulte (obviously, those come with a premium). Regardless, Lennar provides great floor plans, solid construction and fantastic neighborhoods in some the most prime areas. Lennar isn't the #1 builder in Florida for no reason - they sell in huge volume!
